Dataset summary
Performance and feature measurements for 4 AI trading tools (TradingView, SignalStack, Kavout, TrendSpider) tested between 14 January and 7 April 2026. Each tool was funded against real broker accounts (£500 per test) and run for windows ranging from 10 days (SignalStack hands-off execution) to 90 days (TrendSpider 5-year GBP/USD backtest). The dataset is unregulated software territory: none of the four tools are FCA-authorised because they are analysis and signal-execution products, not brokers. Released under CC BY 4.0.
What's in the file
The master CSV contains 4 rows (one per tool) across approximately 65 columns. Column groups:
- Identification and pricing: tool ID, provider company, tool category, primary function, entry / pro / premium subscription tiers in GBP per month, free tier availability, free trial length, annual discount percentage.
- Technical capability: signal delivery method, scripting language, API availability, no-code strategy builder, backtest support and historical depth (years), bar-replay precision, multi-timeframe alerts, paper trading mode, broker integrations list and count.
- Test results (window-specific): trades executed in test, test duration, observed win rate, observed return, observed maximum drawdown, reward-to-risk and Sharpe ratios, missed signals and manual interventions during the test window, hands-off period length, signal-to-execution latency in seconds.
- Editorial and external ratings: TIC overall score plus five pillar scores (pricing, features, ease of use, support, ecosystem), community and Trustpilot ratings with sample counts, limitations notes and lead tester.

Methodology
Live testing across real broker accounts and tool subscriptions. TradingView: 14-day live EUR/USD momentum strategy via SignalStack to Capital.com. SignalStack: 10-day hands-off execution test (23 trades, zero missed signals). Kavout: 30-day Kai Score tracking of 15 US stocks scoring above 7 against the S&P 500. TrendSpider: 90-day forward test of a GBP/USD mean-reversion strategy backtested over 5 years of historical data. Subscription pricing converted from native USD where applicable at the testing-date FX rate. Performance metrics are window-specific and not annualised; they reflect what happened during the test, not generalisable tool performance. Full protocol →
Verified data
All 4 tool rows verified against primary sources (live subscription testing, tool feature pages, observed test results) as of 14 May 2026. Inferred metrics (win rate where only return was published, Sharpe ratio derived from backtest outputs) are flagged in the dataset documentation; expect refresh at the Q2 2026 test cycle.
