It’s better to collect 1oz bars probably coins. They have a lower premium and are easier to sell at close to what you paid.
Smaller denominations could work for you. But if you were buying at least an 1oz it would make sense to get a 1oz Eagle or something

Hi everyone, I’m looking to start collecting/investing on gold bars. It’s mostly for personal collection but I want to be able to sell it in case of emergencies as well. Does the weight matter in this case?
I’m hoping to collect 1 gram bars so I can collect more designs but will these be more difficult so sell?
