To be honest, it is the same on both sides. If you go back and look at all those “XRP to $X by EOY” posts, most would look equally stupid today. The difference is that these are pro XRP communities, and people don’t mind looking stupid as long as they are bullish on XRP. Even most of the arguments about XRP’s use cases are based on old narratives. People continue to undermine stablecoins and other alternatives despite how much the dynamics have changed. Many intentionally avoid questioning these narratives because doing so would challenge their existing beliefs (cognitive dissonance). It’s easy to laugh at people who were confidently wrong about XRP going to zero. But we conveniently ignore those who were just as confidently wrong about XRP reaching $5, $10, $20, $100 or even $1,000 within their predicted timelines.

Has anybody ever read old comments about XRP or just crypto in general? It is hilarious to me. “XRP is going to zero” “It will never go above 50 cents” etc. obviously most of those comments have been deleted because people didn’t want to look stupid but you can still see some of them. The XRP hater page is completely based on old theories and opinions that were debatable years ago but now have been proven false. If you hate XRP will you delete your comments in a few years when you realize you were completely wrong or will you continue hating?
