What are the lowest-cost, diversified investment options available for beginners in the UK?

Where does everyone receive their investing information from?
I never know where the best place to look is when sourcing regular investing info… at the minute it is only through YouTube, but I feel like once it is there it is already too late to bother with it?

How much do I need to start investing with?
